About SURFERS PARADISE

Esk is located 110 km north-west of Brisbane, nestled under Glen Rock and Mt Esk. The area was first explored by Captain Patrick Logan in 1830 and European pastoralists soon settled in the area.

Esk serves as a service centre for a rich farming area. There are a number of interesting National Trust buildings in the town, including the elegant Bellevue and Caboonbah Homesteads.

Nearby attractions include Lake Somerset and Lake Wivenhoe, and Ravensbourne and Crows Nest National Parks.
